Graphic Designer

About the role

Ashesi University's Center for Entrepreneurship is looking for a Graphic Designer to turn its programs, ventures, research, campaigns, events and priorities into clear, consistently branded visual communication. The role manages design work from brief through production and delivery on digital and print channels, and works with the Digital Communications & Community Engagement Officer and the Senior Programs Officer, Student & Academic Innovation to build visual campaigns and campus presence. It reports to the Director of the Center.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visual concepts and finished assets for campaigns, programs, events, publications, digital channels and institutional priorities
• Produce digital and print materials such as social media content, campaign assets, reports, presentations, event collateral and signage
• Turn briefs, research, data and venture stories into infographics, diagrams and data visualisations
• Design reports, case studies, venture profiles and impact materials with strong layout and information design
• Apply Ashesi brand standards consistently and maintain templates, layouts and reusable assets
• Manage design assignments from brief to delivery, keeping track of timelines, revisions and versions, and coordinate with printers and vendors
• Support student engagement by creating visual campaigns, pop-ups, newsletters and recruitment materials

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, Multimedia Design or a related field
• Demonstrated professional experience producing high-quality design work across digital and print formats
• Portfolio showing typography, layout, branding, campaign and publication design
• Experience producing digital content, publications, presentations, campaign materials and event collateral

Required skills

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Understanding of print production, file preparation, resolution, colour, typography and output specifications
• Ability to interpret a communications brief and deliver accurate, timely outputs
