Graphic & Motion Designer

About the role

Social Ghana is seeking a Senior Graphic & Motion Designer to lead creative production for its brand portfolio. The role involves creating original visual assets, guiding junior designers, and ensuring all output aligns with brand guidelines under the supervision of the Art and Creative Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative content for brands.
• Participate in ideation sessions with content creators and copywriters.
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audiences.
• Maintain a strong eye for visual composition and meet deadlines.
• Provide and receive constructive criticism to improve work quality.
• Lead brand creative output to ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
• Continuously master design aspects including branding, typography, motion graphics, animation and production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Communications or a related field.
• Agency experience as a Creative/Graphic Designer.
• High level of creativity, vision and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal, time‑management, presentation, leadership and communication skills.
• Receptiveness to feedback and adaptability.
• Understanding of client and business side of an agency.
• Desire to learn and grow technically.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent graphic design skills demonstrated through a strong portfolio.
