Multimedia Designer

About the role

The Multimedia Designer will create visually compelling static and motion graphics that communicate brand messages and support advertising campaigns for Publicis West Africa’s regional clients. Working within a collaborative creative team, you will produce designs for digital, print, social media and video platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Translate creative briefs into high‑quality designs for print, digital, billboards and promotional materials.
• Develop motion concepts, storyboards and short‑form video assets, ensuring visual consistency across all channels.
• Collaborate with copywriters, account managers and other designers to align visual output with brand and marketing goals.
• Adapt static and animated assets to technical specifications of each platform, checking resolution, aspect ratio and export quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Multimedia Designer with a strong portfolio covering digital, print and video work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (or comparable motion‑design and video‑editing tools).
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory and layout composition.
