Group Driver / Logistics Driver

About the role

The Group Driver / Logistics Driver will ensure safe and timely transportation of staff, guests, goods and documents for a reputable restaurant operating across Accra and Tema. This full‑time, onsite role requires flexibility to work across multiple locations and adhere to strict safety and confidentiality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transport authorised personnel, guests, goods and documents to assigned destinations following approved schedules and routes.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, checking tyres, lights, fluids, brakes, fuel and overall roadworthiness.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel records, trip logs, mileage records and other required documentation.
• Report accidents, incidents, traffic offences, delays and mechanical problems immediately in line with company procedures.
• Assist with safe loading, securing and unloading of items and verify delivery handovers.
• Observe Ghanaian traffic regulations, defensive‑driving practices and company safety requirements.
• Support basic vehicle upkeep and arrange approved servicing or repairs through the supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid Ghanaian driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle class.
• At least three years of professional driving experience, preferably in corporate, hospitality, logistics or food‑service environments.
• Clean and verifiable driving history with strong understanding of defensive driving and road safety.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Good knowledge of Accra and surrounding routes; willingness to travel to other locations in Ghana when assigned.
• Basic literacy, communication and record‑keeping skills.
• Professional conduct, punctuality, honesty, discretion and responsible handling of company vehicles and property.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence for the assigned vehicle class.
• Proficiency in operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with vehicle inspection procedures and basic maintenance coordination.
