Head of Finance – General Ledger & Statutory Reporting

About the role

Network International is seeking a Head of Finance to provide strategic leadership over general ledger integrity and statutory financial reporting across the region. The role ensures high‑quality, compliant, and timely financial statements in line with IFRS, local GAAP and regulatory requirements, while acting as a key finance partner to Group Finance, auditors and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee regional general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Prepare and file statutory financial statements in compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and country‑specific regulations.
• Manage the statutory reporting calendar for multiple entities and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, regulators and local authorities, facilitating audits and resolving findings.
• Review and approve balance‑sheet reconciliations, ensuring clear ownership and timely clearance of items.
• Drive consistent application of accounting policies and alignment with Group guidelines.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, including reconciliations, confirmations and elimination support.
• Monitor compliance with statutory filing, disclosure and board‑approved financial statement requirements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, new standards and regulatory changes.
• Lead, coach and develop the regional GL and statutory reporting team, fostering strong internal controls and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in general ledger accounting and statutory financial reporting within a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and regional regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage audit processes and interact with regulators.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to coach and develop finance teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
