Head of Human Resources – Hospitality (Marriott Experience)

About the role

The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function for Four Points® by Sheraton Accra Kotoka Airport, a 199‑room hotel located near Kotoka International Airport. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for aligning HR practices with corporate standards and Ghanaian labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support operational excellence and employee engagement.
• Oversee recruitment, staffing, and talent acquisition for all hotel departments.
• Manage employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and corporate policies.
• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
• Supervise the HR team and coordinate with senior management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resources management.
• Proficiency in Ghanaian labour and employment law with a track record of legal compliance.
• Experience creating and implementing HR policies.
• Proven ability to manage employee relations and promote a positive culture.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hospitality industry experience, preferably with Marriott properties.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; HR professional certification is a plus.
