About the role

The Head of International School leads the academic and operational performance of an international school in the Greater Accra Region. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that curriculum, teaching quality, and student services meet global standards while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support faculty, overseeing curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor teaching quality and student outcomes, applying research to enhance practices.
• Collaborate with families, education partners, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and advance the school’s reputation.
• Develop and manage the school’s strategic plan, budget, and resource allocation.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop staff, overseeing performance management and professional development.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of proven educational leadership experience in international or bilingual school settings.
• Relevant university degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree or leadership certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities with a learner‑centered approach.
• Ability to work on‑site in Greater Accra and engage effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds.
