About the role

The Head of Partnerships & Products will lead the creation and management of MojoPay’s ecosystem of strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and fintech organisations while driving product development and commercial performance. This senior role sits at the intersection of relationship management, product strategy, and commercial execution, leveraging MojoPay’s Bank of Ghana licence and payment infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and secure strategic partnerships with commercial banks, community banks, micro‑finance institutions, and fintech firms across Ghana and West Africa.
• Position MojoPay as the preferred digital payment infrastructure partner for financial institutions seeking expanded merchant acceptance and digital payment capabilities.
• Develop and manage relationships with regulatory bodies such as GhIPSS and the Bank of Ghana.
• Engage mobile money operators (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo) to ensure seamless integration across mobile money platforms.
• Build partnerships with international money transfer operators, remittance companies, and cross‑border payment providers.
• Structure collaborations with insurance companies, lending platforms, and savings product providers.
• Lead negotiations, term‑sheet development, and commercial agreement execution in coordination with legal and compliance teams.
• Manage active partnerships, monitor performance against commercial targets, and optimise revenue extraction.

Required profile

• Strong relationships within the financial services sector and deep understanding of how banks and fintechs approach partnerships.
• Proven ability to translate partnership opportunities into live, revenue‑generating product integrations.
• Experience in navigating regulatory environments and collaborating with payment infrastructure stakeholders.
