Head of Sales and Branch Operations

About the role

The Head of Sales and Branch Operations will lead VisionFund Ghana’s micro‑finance network, driving commercial strategy, overseeing branch performance and ensuring high‑quality credit delivery. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this senior leader will shape business plans, integrate with World Vision initiatives and safeguard the institution’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the CEO in developing the Business Plan in collaboration with the Head of Finance and Administration.
• Provide leadership for integration with World Vision and ensure social performance standards.
• Meet performance targets and indicators aligned with micro‑finance standards.
• Coordinate network development and monitor branch activities for efficiency, profitability and security.
• Safeguard the quality of the credit portfolio.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and updates of products, services and procedures.
• Ensure field staff are trained, equipped and motivated to achieve objectives.
• Review and update credit policies and operational guidelines regularly.
• Consolidate and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial, portfolio and impact reports from all branches and take corrective actions.
• Systematically follow up on issues and challenges arising from branch operations.

Required profile

• Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
• Collaboration with the Head of Finance and Administration on business planning.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing micro‑finance or financial service teams.
