About the role

The Head of Projects & Sustainability will lead the planning, execution and evaluation of Standard Weave Care’s social and environmental programmes. Reporting to senior management, this role combines strategic project oversight with the drive to embed sustainability across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor social projects from inception to completion.
• Lead sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with environmental and social impact goals.
• Conduct monitoring, evaluation and learning activities to assess project performance.
• Manage donor relations, fundraising activities and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
• Oversee documentation, ensure confidentiality and uphold high standards of accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in project management, business administration, international development, environmental or social sciences.
• Minimum 2 years experience managing social projects with a proven track record.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles and fundraising practices.
• Ability to work in a cross‑cultural environment and prioritize tasks under strict deadlines.
• Passion for social entrepreneurship and commitment to impact in Ghana.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
