Health, Safety & Environment Officer

About the role

The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer will lead the implementation and monitoring of Kasapreko PLC’s health, safety and environmental policies. You will identify hazards, conduct inspections, train staff and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular safety inspections and audits to detect hazards and verify compliance.
• Implement HSE policies and procedures in line with company standards and legal requirements.
• Deliver training on safety protocols, emergency response and environmental best practices.
• Respond to emergencies, coordinate with responders and investigate incidents to determine root causes.
• Maintain accurate records of HSE activities and produce reports for management.
• Collaborate with other departments to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices in HSE management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HSE Officer in a manufacturing environment, preferably beverage production.
• Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with ISO management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Ability to conduct safety training and deliver presentations.
• Experience with occupational health and environmental monitoring.
