Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager will lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department at The C Resort, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and manage housekeeping staff, allocating duties and monitoring performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and other assigned zones to maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office for timely room readiness and accurate room status updates.
• Work with Maintenance to identify and follow up on maintenance issues affecting rooms and public spaces.
• Manage linen, towels, uniforms, cleaning supplies and overall housekeeping inventory, monitoring stock levels and controlling costs.
• Oversee laundry operations and maintain appropriate linen par levels.
• Ensure cleaning schedules, deep‑cleaning programmes and housekeeping checklists are followed.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns related to housekeeping and ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience with supervisory or managerial responsibilities in a hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, room inspection and cleaning standards.
• Experience in linen, laundry and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced hospitality environment and flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
