About the role
The Professional Chef – Partnership is a contract, on‑site position at Johann Western Guesthouse in Tema, focused on delivering high‑quality culinary experiences for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and prepare breakfast and select meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- Design menus that blend local and international flavours.
- Manage kitchen inventory, purchasing and cost‑effective practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with guesthouse management on meal offerings, special events and themed dining experiences.
Required profile
- Strong culinary skills with experience in both local and international cuisine.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and sourcing.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Customer‑focused mindset with experience tailoring meals to diverse dietary needs.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
