HR Supervisor – Employee Relations

About the role

The HR Supervisor – Employee Relations will manage day‑to‑day employee relations activities for factory staff, focusing on shop‑floor and frontline workers. The role ensures fair handling of grievances, disciplinary cases and attendance issues while supporting a positive workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations activities, including grievances, disputes and workplace conflicts.
• Handle disciplinary cases, investigations, show‑cause notices, warnings and suspensions in line with company policy and Ghanaian labour law.
• Monitor attendance, absenteeism and lateness, and maintain accurate records of all ER matters.
• Provide HR guidance to production and other managers on disciplinary and employee‑relations issues.
• Support resolution of labour disputes, legal matters and engagement with trade unions or worker committees.
• Identify ER risks, report trends and recommend preventive measures to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience in manufacturing or large‑scale industrial settings, with at least 2–3 years focused on employee/industrial relations.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Proven ability to handle confidential, sensitive matters professionally and make sound HR judgments.
