About the role

The Human Resource Manager will lead the HR function of a tertiary healthcare delivery institution, ensuring that the hospital attracts, retains and develops a skilled workforce. This position reports to senior administration and works closely with department heads.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to fill clinical and non‑clinical positions.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, training, and professional development programs.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes and career progression pathways.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, hospital policies, and Ministry of Health regulations.
  • Handle employee relations issues, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting.

Required profile

  • First degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant HR experience.
  • Strong analytical and computing abilities.
  • Dynamic, well‑qualified individual with a professional demeanor.
