Internal Auditor

About the role

Darerich Limited, a leading hospitality establishment in Takoradi, is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to ensure the hotel’s operations are efficient, effective and compliant with policies and regulations. The role involves conducting audits, evaluating internal controls and recommending improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes.
• Develop and implement audit plans, procedures and tools to ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify improvement areas and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Evaluate financial statements, accounting records and other financial data for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and monitor progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or ICAG (advantageous).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in internal auditing, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management and governance processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
