Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will ensure the integrity of financial data and inventory records within QuickBooks for our manufacturing and warehousing operations in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular audits of QuickBooks financial data, verifying ledger categorization and class/location tracking.
• Audit inventory and Bill of Materials in QuickBooks, reconciling system data with physical warehouse counts.
• Review purchasing cycles, purchase orders, item receipts and vendor bills to detect discrepancies or duplicate payments.
• Audit customer invoices, sales orders and credit memos to ensure accurate revenue capture.
• Examine manual journal entries, bank reconciliations and credit‑card accounts for unusual transactions.
• Prepare concise audit reports with findings, risks and cost‑effective recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and verify risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of internal or external audit or senior accounting experience, with at least 2 years using QuickBooks in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Preferred certifications: CIA, CPA or ACCA.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise or QuickBooks Online Advanced.
• Strong technical knowledge of QuickBooks inventory, multi‑currency and user permission controls.
