International School Principal

About the role

The International School Principal will lead a bilingual international school in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching and learning, especially at the middle‑school level, while fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and instructional leadership across all grades.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and instructional planning for a diverse, international student body.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate educators and support staff.
• Manage day‑to‑day school operations and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Coordinate academic programs, extracurricular activities, and school events.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and uphold accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Represent the school within the broader community and maintain relationships with families and external partners.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in middle‑school education or similar grade levels within an international or multicultural context.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Strong educational leadership and school administration experience.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, families, staff, and community partners.
• Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, safe, and equitable school environment.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
