Key Account Coordinator – Mining

About the role

The Key Account Coordinator – Mining acts as the central liaison between Mantrac and its key mining customers in Ghana. The role ensures seamless communication, timely parts and service delivery, and promotes Mantrac’s solutions as the preferred choice for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, coordinating with all internal Mantrac departments and Unatrac Ltd.
• Communicate and follow up on service requirements, field service activities, workshop WIP, engine, undercarriage, power‑train and hydraulics issues.
• Address parts orders and queries on the day they are received and ensure customers have full access to parts sales programs.
• Forward sales leads to the appropriate sales team and discuss product‑support opportunities linked to new machine transactions.
• Collaborate with customer maintenance planners to keep CRCs informed of major change‑out plans and provide repair options aligned with budgets.
• Oversee assembly and hand‑over of new machines, establish piece‑parts stock, and coordinate major component provision.
• Organise and lead monthly management meetings with customers, involving all key stakeholders.
• Provide high‑level monthly reports to senior maintenance management, regional management and territory management.
• Participate in warranty repair decisions and promote new service items, retrofit plans and technology solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating key accounts, preferably in the mining sector.
• Strong ability to act as the main link between customers and internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar and non‑Caterpillar mining equipment.
