Laboratory Technician (Tamale)

About the role
As a Laboratory Technician at Shalina Diagnostics Ghana in Tamale, you will deliver analytical services that support patient care. You will work within a quality‑assured environment, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine and special laboratory tests and provide coverage across diagnostic areas.
- Perform technical work within acceptable turnaround times according to SOPs.
- Document and maintain accurate logs to ensure good laboratory practice.
- Provide high‑standard technical service as part of the health‑care team.
- Maintain laboratory equipment in compliance with company standards and legislation.
- Implement internal quality control measures for technical procedures.
- Assist in research, evaluation of new techniques and laboratory audits.
Required profile
- Diploma, Certificate or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Good standing with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC).
