Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of academy programmes for UT Holdings Ltd’s subsidiary in Ghana. This role ensures that employees acquire the core competencies needed to support service delivery, product knowledge and company values.

Key responsibilities

• Guide approved providers to develop, customise and coordinate all Academy programmes for the subsidiary.
• Design and implement core curriculum covering service delivery standards, product knowledge, UT values, etc.
• Prepare, manage and track budgets and invoicing for all learning & development activities.
• Manage contracting and delivery processes with external learning providers.
• Implement and monitor the subsidiary Talent Management Process in line with UT’s People Development Process.
• Identify and coordinate assignments to create career paths for high‑potential employees, mapping group and individual development plans.
• Ensure training activities focus on effective transfer of learning.
• Participate in all stages of UT Academy infrastructure build (Discover, Engage, Learn, Practice, Evaluate) and liaise with development partners.
• Support pre‑academy launch communications.
• Track learning performance analytics, prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and highlight issues.

Required profile

• First degree from a reputable university.
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development Management or Human Resources Management.
• Post‑graduate qualification in HR/L&D Management and relevant professional certification is an advantage.
