About the role

The Faculty of Computing and Information Systems at Ghana Communication Technology University seeks a qualified academic to join as a Lecturer. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and community service within one of the designated departments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the appointed department.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish findings in reputable venues.
• Engage in community service and university outreach activities.
• Participate in faculty development, departmental administration, and curriculum enhancement.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mobile and Pervasive Computing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor university‑level students.
• Evidence of active research and scholarly publications.
• Names and addresses of three professional referees.
