Lecturer in Computing & Information Systems

About the role

We are seeking a qualified academic to join the Faculty of Computing and Information Systems at Ghana Communication Technology University. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research and community engagement within one of the department’s areas of focus.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computing, information systems or related subjects.
• Supervise student projects, theses and research activities.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Participate in community service and outreach initiatives.
• Engage in faculty development and departmental administration.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
• Evidence of scholarly work and teaching experience is desirable.
• Names and contact details of three referees.
• Complete application package including a cover letter, detailed CV, copies of certificates, transcripts and current appointment letters.
