Lecturer – Information Technology & Computer Science

About the role

The Department of Information Technology and Computer Science at Data Link Institutes of Business and Technology is seeking motivated lecturers to join our academic team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching and supporting student research in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Information Technology and Computer Science.
• Supervise student research projects, internships and dissertations.
• Develop and update course materials, employing modern teaching methods and e‑learning platforms.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and academic quality‑assurance activities.
• Provide academic advice, mentorship and guidance to students.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Minimum MPhil degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (PhD preferred).
• At least two years of teaching and research experience at the tertiary level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to academic excellence, integrity and ethical standards.
• Ability to utilise modern teaching technologies and e‑learning platforms effectively.

Required skills

• ICT proficiency.
• Experience with e‑learning platforms and digital teaching tools.
