Lecturer Positions – Curriculum Studies, Special Education, Dangme & English

About the role

Mount Mary College of Education seeks qualified academics to join its teaching staff in the Faculty of Education. The positions cover curriculum studies, special education, the Ghanaian language Dangme, and English language (including literature, linguistics, and lexical semantics). Successful candidates will contribute to the college’s mission of producing competent teachers for Ghana’s schools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess coursework and examinations for assigned subjects.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and community outreach activities.
• Conduct research, publish findings, and participate in academic conferences.
• Engage in curriculum development, academic administration, and professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in a relevant discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
• Minimum two years of lecturing experience at a college of education or comparable tertiary institution.
• Demonstrated ICT competence for teaching and research.

Required skills
