About the role
The Institute for Oil and Gas Studies at the University of Cape Coast seeks a Senior Lecturer to lead teaching and research in energy, petroleum economics, natural gas engineering, petroleum commerce, and natural resource law and governance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the specified energy and petroleum disciplines.
- Supervise student research projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct and publish research in international journals and contribute to the institute's academic reputation.
Required profile
- PhD from a reputable university in a relevant specialization.
- Minimum four years of lecturing experience at a university or equivalent institution.
- At least five refereed publications in the area of specialization.
- Strong teaching and corporate experience, with a professional background in the energy sector.
- Maximum age of 50 years.
