Logistics Coordinator (Ghana)

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will act as the central link between clients, internal teams, customs authorities, shipping lines, terminal operators and transport providers. You will ensure that all logistics activities are coordinated and completed on time while adhering to company procedures and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics operations, including sea and air freight.
• Manage customer relationships and handle quotations and cost control.
• Ensure customs and regulatory compliance for all shipments.
• Maintain job files and documentation, overseeing transport coordination.
• Develop and sustain relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Perform other duties as required to support operational excellence.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of customs procedures, port handling and trucking coordination.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation such as MBL/HBL, delivery orders and gate‑in/gate‑out processes.
• Experience with cross‑border and temporary importation tracking.
• Familiarity with local customs legislation and customs systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, including on‑site supervision at ports/terminals.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in sea/air freight, port operations or related ground logistics.
• Previous supervisory or coordinator role in logistics.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
