Storekeeper

About the role

Yenique Prix Enterprise (YPE), a diversified Ghanaian company active in education, healthcare, food, retail, e-commerce and logistics, is hiring a full-time, on-site Storekeeper in Accra. The role manages stock and supplies for YPE's retail and logistics operations, working closely with procurement, sales and logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and organize items in designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Assist with stock replenishment and packing of orders for distribution.
• Keep storage areas clean, safe and well organized, and follow procedures for handling equipment and materials.
• Support internal teams with timely access to required stock.

Required profile

• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehousing or retail operations is preferred; familiarity with logistics or e-commerce is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move items safely and follow health and safety guidelines in a warehouse or store environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong inventory control and inventory management skills, including tracking stock levels and keeping accurate records.
• Practical experience packing and organizing goods for storage, dispatch and retail presentation.
• Knowledge of forklift operation or other material-handling equipment, with adherence to safety protocols (certification is an advantage).
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for using inventory software or spreadsheets.
