Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

The Logistics Operations Manager drives distribution operational excellence, performance improvement and leads logistics initiatives and projects. Reporting to the Head of Logistics – GH & Francos, the role acts as the principal deputy, providing operational leadership, ensuring business continuity and building the logistics leadership pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise distribution operations to achieve high‑volume performance and continuous improvement.
• Support the Head of Logistics in strategic planning, change‑management projects and maintaining business continuity across Accra and Tema.
• Oversee project execution, change‑management initiatives and data‑driven decision making to enhance logistics performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain, logistics, engineering, business administration or related field; postgraduate qualification or professional certification is a plus.
• 8‑10 years of experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing or transport, preferably in FMCG or high‑volume food‑beverage environments.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking combined with hands‑on operational judgement, analytical problem‑solving and data‑based decision‑making.
