Loss Prevention Officer – Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our property in Accra. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Prepare incident reports, shift summaries and loss‑prevention activity logs.
• Escort unwelcome persons and report vehicle accidents or thefts.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 kg unaided.
• Physical fitness to run, jog or move quickly in response to incidents.
• Clear vision for reading small print and inspecting equipment.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company policies.
• Willingness to maintain confidentiality of all security information.
