Maintenance Manager - Accra Bottling Plant

About the role

Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) is hiring a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance strategy and execution at its Accra bottling plant. The role drives equipment reliability, minimizes downtime and supports production and business goals, while expanding Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Six Sigma practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall plant maintenance operations, covering preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Set and monitor maintenance KPIs to drive reliability, performance and uptime.
• Oversee maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, vendor partnerships, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ensure all maintenance work meets Coca-Cola engineering standards and complies with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Work daily with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to resolve technical or operational issues quickly.
• Develop technical solutions that improve production efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Champion a culture of safety and quality and enforce rigorous standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering; professional certification in maintenance or reliability is a plus.
• 10-15 years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, including 6+ years in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role.
• Proven experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of industrial utilities and equipment (electrical, refrigeration, compressors) and of safety and quality standards in an FMCG environment.
