Production Technician I

About the role

The Production Technician I will work offshore on a rotating shift schedule, operating plant process and utility systems safely and efficiently. The role supports routine maintenance, monitoring, and hand‑over activities to ensure continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, start‑up and shut‑down process and utility systems while adhering to O&M contractor and regulatory requirements.
• Perform mechanical isolations using an electronic permit‑to‑work system and carry out first‑line maintenance tasks.
• Adjust chemical injection pumps to optimal rates and record accurate plant readings.
• Communicate equipment deficiencies to the Production Supervisor and provide Control Room Operations support as directed.

Required profile

• BSc/B.Tech in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hydrocarbon processing, utilities or industrial processing.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation standards and risk assessment procedures.
• Ability to work independently and follow company policies safely.
