Manager, Technology Infrastructure - Unix & Storage Administration

About the role

eProcess is hiring a Manager, Technology Infrastructure - Unix & Storage Administration (Power/AIX/Linux/Cloud) within Technology Operations & Products, reporting to the Unit Head, Enterprise Infrastructure Operations. The role covers designing, installing, configuring, documenting and supporting cloud and Unix/Linux systems across production, test and development environments, with a strong focus on AIX IBM machines. It also includes patching, problem analysis, root-cause analysis, incident reporting, and level 2 support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage availability (99.9% minimum for services and components, 100% data availability), performance, capacity, IT governance compliance, business continuity (zero data loss) and customer satisfaction.
• Install, configure, tune and optimize cloud, Unix/Linux and storage systems, including OS upgrades, software packages and patches.
• Troubleshoot complex operational issues and perform root-cause analysis, creating incident reports.
• Maintain user and group accounts, scripting, automation, system monitoring, file system management and disaster recovery.
• Support Power HA and replication products, including patching, health checks, audit reviews, configuration changes and role swaps.
• Act as technical lead for complex projects and advise peers, management and internal customers.
• Develop operational procedures, technical standards, architecture documentation and executive reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of Unix/Linux systems administration in large-scale, 24x7 enterprise environments.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM AIX, Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and enterprise storage in highly available production environments.
• Proven leadership of infrastructure initiatives such as upgrades, migrations, capacity planning and disaster recovery.
• Experience mentoring junior administrators and providing Level 3 support for critical incidents.

Required skills

• IBM AIX administration, Power Systems (HMC, LPAR, PowerVM) and enterprise storage (SAN, replication, IBM and Hitachi).
• Public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud) and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, load balancing).
• Certifications such as AIX, ITIL, Linux, OCP, IBM Certified, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes or Red Hat are listed as desirable.
