Marketing Manager

About the role

A Social Enterprise is seeking a knowledgeable, goal‑oriented entrepreneur to serve as Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager plays a key role in managing marketing activities for various products within individual projects, identifying potential customers, developing marketing plans aligned with business strategy, and testing marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct gender‑sensitive market research to understand trends, requirements and gather feedback.
• Contribute to develop, evaluate, and implement gender‑sensitive marketing plans and strategies.
• Prepare and manage the marketing budget and track achievements against it.
• Organise gender‑sensitive marketing events and promotions such as community road shows and ensure campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external and internal partners in executing marketing plans and campaigns.
• Advise, document and provide marketing information to the sales team and senior management.

Required profile

• Graduate with a degree in Marketing and Sales.
• At least 2 years of work experience in Marketing and Sales.
• Ability to speak Hausa, Dagbane, Daagare, or other Northern languages.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Previous experience in market research is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and capability to ride a motorbike.
