Mathematics Professor – Research Quality Specialist (Remote, $80/task)

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical individual with a strong research background in computational mathematics to create and solve graduate‑level scientific problems. This short‑term, task‑based contract is fully remote and offers $80 per approved task.

Key responsibilities

• Design original research‑grade problems that require scientific coding in Python.
• Define problem categories, tags, and difficulty levels.
• Provide complete, logically consistent solutions with high reliability and accuracy.
• Participate in two‑tier quality reviews for both problems and solutions.
• Collaborate with reviewers and project leads to refine content and improve evaluation standards.

Required profile

• PhD holder or PhD candidate in Computational Mathematics (preferably Numerical Linear Algebra or Computational Mechanics).
• At least one peer‑reviewed research publication.
• Strong analytical reasoning and advanced problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation.
• Active LinkedIn profile (mandatory).

Required skills
