Measurement Operator – Land Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Measurement Operator to join our engineering team in Ghana. You will be responsible for precise field measurements and data collection that support a variety of infrastructure projects, working independently in fast‑paced, remote environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate total stations, auto/digital levels, GPS‑RTK systems and other surveying instruments.
• Conduct independent field surveys for topographic mapping, boundary marking and construction layout.
• Set out building axes, road alignments, drainage systems and structural elements according to design plans.
• Verify as‑built conditions, monitor earthwork volumes and ensure compliance with design tolerances.
• Record, process and analyse field data using AutoCAD, GIS tools and produce survey reports, sketches and digital maps.
• Maintain accuracy standards (±3 mm–5 mm) and adhere to site safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in infrastructure surveying (roads, pipelines, buildings or related civil works).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on remote or rural sites with minimal supervision.
• Technical proficiency with total stations, auto/digital levels and GPS‑RTK equipment.
