Utilities Manager – Integrated Multi‑Utility Services

About the role

Rendeavour is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Utilities Manager to oversee the planning, establishment, licensing and operational management of integrated multi‑utility services and urban management functions within Appolonia City. The role ensures efficient delivery of power, water, gas, telecoms and sewerage while supporting the city’s sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate corporate structuring and licensing for water, power and telecom utilities.
• Develop and implement legal and operational frameworks for utility businesses.
• Manage relationships with regulators, vendors, consultants and internal teams.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of electricity, water, gas, telecom and sewerage systems.
• Prepare business plans, environmental impact assessments and statutory documentation.
• Design tariff structures, billing frameworks and recommend ERP/software solutions.
• Analyse financial, technical and billing data to identify issues and support credit collections.
• Supervise daily supply activities, fault investigations and compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or Real Estate (master’s degree a plus).
• At least 8 years hands‑on utilities experience, including 4 years in a managerial role.
• Working knowledge of regulatory agency processes and licensing approvals.
• Proven project and development management capabilities.
• Strong budgeting and reporting skills.
