About the role
AutoShack Ghana is seeking an experienced mechanic to join its workshop team in Accra. The role involves performing a range of mechanical repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions and other vehicle systems.
- Diagnose faults using hand tools, diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
- Interpret automotive repair manuals and blueprints to guide repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure tools are properly used.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic with a focus on mechanical repairs.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems such as engines and transmissions.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems on the shop floor.
- Basic computer skills for accessing repair information.
- Based in Accra or willing to work on‑site in Accra.
