MEP Coordinator

About the role

The MEP Coordinator will lead the integration of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across design and construction phases for projects in the Accra and Tema region. Reporting to the project management team, you will ensure that all MEP works are delivered on schedule, to quality standards and within the project’s HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate MEP drawings, specifications and shop drawings for constructability and clash resolution.
• Develop and maintain an integrated MEP installation schedule and monitor progress against approved programmes.
• Manage the activities of MEP subcontractors, ensuring timely mobilisation of labour, materials and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, enforce compliance with project specifications, method statements and inspection test plans.
• Review material submittals, monitor long‑lead items and support procurement and payment certification processes.
• Prepare and execute testing and commissioning plans, witness system tests and close punch‑list items.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with health, safety and environmental requirements and participate in site safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, issue logs and support preparation of hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 60 months (5 years) of experience in MEP coordination on construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractor performance.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, quality management and HSE standards.
