Merchandiser – Sales & Marketing (Garment Industry)

About the role

Waley & Goma Apparel Ltd, a growing garment manufacturing company, is looking for a dynamic Merchandiser – Sales & Marketing to drive new business and manage customer relationships across its uniform, workwear and corporate apparel lines.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and acquire customer accounts.
• Market the company’s range of uniforms, industrial workwear, security uniforms, corporate apparel and institutional garments.
• Prepare quotations, costings, proposals and tender submissions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate sourcing, production and delivery of customer orders.
• Monitor order progress to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Identify new market opportunities and contribute to overall business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in garment merchandising, apparel sales, business development or garment manufacturing.
• Experience in uniforms, workwear, security uniforms, corporate apparel or industrial garments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of garment costing and order management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized and results‑oriented.
