About the role

Koforidua Technical University is seeking qualified candidates for a range of lecturer positions across its Faculties of Engineering, Applied Science & Technology, Health & Allied Sciences, Built & Natural Environment, and Business & Management Studies. Appointments will be made in the specific departments and specializations listed in the announcement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions in the assigned department.
• Engage in research activities and scholarly publications within the field of specialization.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, theses and dissertations.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and academic committees.

Required profile

• Previously appointed as Lecturer in the relevant discipline at a public tertiary institution or an accredited private tertiary institution in Ghana or abroad.
• Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization.
• Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Expertise in the specific area of specialization (e.g., Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding and Fabrication, Power Systems, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Food Processing, Postharvest Engineering, Radiography, Health Information Management, Estate/Facility Management, Measurement and Estimating, Land Surveying, Refrigeration and Air‑conditioning, Sustainable Water and Sanitation Management, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Law).
