About the role
UNICEF is seeking a National Intern to support communications and media relations activities in Accra, Ghana. The internship lasts 26 weeks and offers practical experience in media engagement, content creation, and advocacy communications while contributing to the organization’s public visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
- Assist with outreach to journalists, bloggers, and media outlets.
- Support the organization of press briefings, interviews, and media events.
- Help respond to media inquiries under supervision.
- Assist in drafting and editing press releases and media advisories.
