Nephropathy Specialist – Internal Medicine

About the role

The Nephropathy Specialist provides expert internal medicine care for patients with kidney disorders, working within the privileges granted by Fakeeh Care and adhering to its clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in line with granted privileges and Fakeeh Care policies.
• Document all clinical activities according to organizational documentation procedures.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures, collaborating with attending physicians.
• Perform or assist in medical/surgical procedures within scope of privileges.
• Prepare and provide medical reports promptly using the required format.
• Participate in departmental meetings, scientific activities, and junior staff training.
• Maintain confidentiality, follow safety protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or fellowship‑trained internal medicine physician with a subspecialty in nephrology.
• Licensed to practice by the relevant regional health authority (e.g., SCFHS, DHA) and certified in BLS.
• Proven experience in recognized medical centers as required by the regulatory authority.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work effectively in high‑stress environments and maintain organized documentation.
