Outer District Distribution Sales Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Outer District Distribution Sales Specialist to oversee our FMCG distribution network in Ghana. The role combines distributor management, CRM team leadership, market intelligence and rapid response to operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage distributor relationships, controlling customer operations, team performance, and the full spectrum of people, vehicle, finance and inventory management.
• Build and lead a CRM sales‑representative team, monitor client usage of the CRM platform and perform regular data analysis.
• Conduct regular market visits across the assigned territory, visit retail outlets such as Melcom and China Mall, assess competitive positioning and devise response strategies and action plans.
• Support the resolution of unexpected or emergency situations that arise in the field.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably from one of Ghana’s top three universities.
• Minimum of one year experience in FMCG distribution and customer management within Ghana.
• Proven experience managing a team of 3‑5 people in a recognized FMCG company.
• Familiarity with major Accra retail/key‑account chains (e.g., Melcom, China Mall).
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and office software.
• Willingness to travel short‑term outside the assigned area and work on‑site at customer locations when required.
