Paralegal – Corporate & Commercial Law Firm

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Paralegal to join Egality Law, a corporate and commercial law firm operating in Ghana and the UK. The successful candidate will support our lawyers across a range of practice areas, including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, media and human rights law.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft documents under the supervision of senior lawyers.
• Assist in client meetings by managing diaries, correspondence and logistical arrangements.
• Correspond with clients, external counsel and government officials on behalf of the firm.
• Handle administrative and office tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes for greater efficiency.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all firm matters and communications.

Required profile

• Currently studying law or recently graduated with a first‑class or upper‑second‑class law degree (or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• High level of integrity, strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and a sense of humour.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
