Paramedic / Emergency Medical Technician – Accra

About the role

Halcome Management Services is seeking a dynamic Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician to join the new Bank Hospital in Accra. You will respond to emergency calls, provide on‑site medical care, and transport patients safely to the appropriate facility.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to emergency medical calls and assess patient conditions.
• Provide first‑aid, administer medication, pain relief, IV infusions, and wound care.
• Operate life‑support equipment such as bag‑valve‑mask devices, external defibrillators, and ECG monitors.
• Drive the ambulance, monitor patients en route, and communicate with receiving medical teams.
• Maintain and decontaminate medical equipment and ambulance interior.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in paramedical science or equivalent training.
• At least one year of paramedic experience.
• Valid EMT‑P certification/EMS license and CPR certification.
• Training in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and trauma care.
• Clean driving record complying with safety policies.
• Excellent English communication, physical fitness, and ability to work irregular hours.
