Part-Time Remote Video Editor for Education Content

About the role

We are looking for a creative, part‑time video editor to join our education brand remotely. Working one day per week (8‑10 hours), you will transform raw teaching recordings into engaging short‑form and long‑form videos that capture attention across social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form clips for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok and longer YouTube videos from provided recordings and scripts.
• Add captions and subtitles to ensure videos are effective without sound.
• Create eye‑catching thumbnails, cover images and simple on‑brand graphics.
• Repurpose webinars and longer sessions into multiple short clips.
• Trim, tidy and brand each video for a consistent, professional look.
• Deliver finished videos on a weekly schedule.

Required profile

• Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
• Reliability and ability to meet deadlines without constant supervision.
• Quick learner, open to feedback and new tools.
• Good written English for captions and titles.
• Stable internet connection and a computer capable of running editing software.

• Canva (thumbnails, graphics and basic video edits)
