Physician Assistant – Full-time Clinical Role

About the role

The Physician Assistant will join Lod Medical & Fertility Center in Accra, providing on-site clinical support to physicians in a full-time capacity. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients seeking fertility, reproductive health, and general medical services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Order, interpret, and document results of laboratory and imaging tests.
• Assist physicians in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide counseling on fertility, reproductive health, family planning, and general medical conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic medical record systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in follow-up visits and monitor patient adherence to clinic protocols and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Completed Physician Assistant training program and current licensure/registration to practice as a PA in Ghana.
• Clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, or fertility/reproductive health is highly beneficial.
• Ability to conduct sensitive consultations with professionalism and discretion.
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered practice and continuous professional development.
• Willingness to work on-site in Accra and adapt to occasional extended or flexible hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
