Planning Officer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Planning Officer 1 will support Nexans Kabelmetal Ghana’s production line by managing work‑in‑progress (WIP) inventory and ensuring accurate data flow across the manufacturing process. This position is critical to sustain productivity and meet the company’s operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage WIP inventory and perform regular stock‑taking.
• Update production data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Transfer finished goods from production to the finished‑goods store.
• Coordinate data for SQDCE meetings.
• Create and maintain production master data, including items, bills of materials (BOMs) and routings.
• Assist with weekly production planning when the supervisor is absent.

• Functional knowledge of the manufacturing module of ERP systems.
• Experience in inventory management.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
