Plumber (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Plumber to join the maintenance team at Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures the hotel’s plumbing infrastructure operates safely and efficiently, supporting a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures throughout the hotel, including pipes, valves, drains and sanitary installations.
• Diagnose plumbing issues, perform preventive maintenance and respond promptly to service requests.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations and the hotel’s quality standards.
• Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to minimise downtime and support other technical projects.
• Interact professionally with hotel staff and guests when addressing plumbing concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Plumbing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related field, with at least Second Class Upper Division.
• Relevant technical training or certification in plumbing or building services; trade school or vocational qualification preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Accra, respond to emergencies and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Previous experience in commercial or hospitality settings is an advantage.
